Australian Seabird Rescue Centre

Evergreen Taoist Temple

Today we board our coach travelling towards Nudgee stopping to enjoy morning tea before arriving at the Evergreen Taoist Temple at Deagon on the outskirts of Brisbane and not far from Nudgee Beach. This Temple was completed in 1991 and its sprawling complex is full of colours, statues and ornate trimmings and is the largest Taoist Temple in the Southern Hemisphere. Here we will be taken on a tour by Sister Linda of their three main worship halls – The Guardian Angles Hall, Three Masters Hall and Three (indistinct) Hall.
