Bechtel combined LNG project

Stonestreets Coaches completed the last personnel bussing runs for the Bechtel combined LNG project

On Friday 2 December 2016, Stonestreets completed the last personnel bussing runs for the Bechtel combined LNG project. Stonestreets Coaches operated for a total of 5 years and 3 months on this project, which is the largest private construction project in Australia's history.

During this period Stonestreets bussed some 11,000 personnel, completing approximately 120,800 runs and travelling an incredible 11,627,000 kilometres.

A number of the local drivers employed on this project have been retained by Stonestreets at the Gladstone Depot and will now be deployed to other Central Queensland contracts including the ongoing operational bussing for the APLNG plant, Queensland Transport school runs and a number of smaller resource and tourism contracts.
